According to the plan, we arrived at Quanzhou Station at 8 o'clock this morning, checked in around 8:50, and the train departed around 9:20. To our surprise, this time we didn't take the Harmony high-speed train, but a fast train with green carriages. My brother said, "The Quanzhou to Dehua line usually carries freight." I couldn't find a high-speed train to Dehua on 12306 either.
It feels like riding a bus. The air is stuffy. I looked it up online, and the speed of the express train is generally 120km/h, similar to cars on the highway. We traveled from Quanzhou to Nan'an, then to Anxi, followed by Yongchun, and finally to Dehua, taking an hour and a half, similar to the time it took us to drive on the highway.
Coming out of the train station, the first thing I felt was the cold. At noon today, the temperature in Quanzhou city was 11 degrees, while in Dehua it was 8 degrees. Then the sun was shining brightly.
I checked the weather forecast briefly, and it may drop to minus 2 degrees Celsius tonight. I have never experienced such low temperatures. Sitting outside now, my hands are starting to freeze.
I heard that in Mohe County, the northernmost part of China, it can drop to around minus 50 degrees, cold, really cold.
